Ron's Picks: Tokio Hotel

After a week long stint on TRL, Tokio Hotel has caught my attention even more. The band, which is from Germany, was created by twin bothers Bill Kaulitz (singer) and Tom Kaulitz (guitarist), Gustav Schafer (drummer), and Georg Listing (bassist). What I like about the band itself though is that each member of the band rocks their own significant styles esp. the twin bothers who dress like complete opposites. Bill, for example, is known for his androgynous style, wearing tight leather jackets and eyeshadow, and hair which remind me of a Dragonball Z character. His twin bother, Tom though, has dreads and wears baggy jeans and big t-shirts. Now, on to the music. The band has released two German albums and an English one called Scream. From Scream came two of my favorite singles from the album Ready,Set,Go! and Monsoon which have some hopeful lyrics. Listen to these singles and more on their Myspace.
