Tokio Hotel on "Rock U" | |
| While browsing through my On Demand, I found out that Tokio Hotel is featured on an episode of, "Rock U" - it's almost like Fresh Crops, but it features more than one band that way you can check them all out. Tokio Hotel is featured (along with the bands - Airbourne and Apocalyptica) from 4 minutes until the end, which is 7. I do not know how to record it, (since I am lacking those necessities at the moment) but I did write out what they said, word for word, along with the summary from the narrator. Here is a quote from Bill at the beginning of the show: "... Also in Europe it was all about the internet 'cause at first there are fan pages, and after that all the media people talk about it and then the record company." - Bill. I did write all of this out word for word from the television, so until there's a video, I'd like credit. Thanks :) TH on "Rock U" (Beginning of "Live Every Second" plays) German superstars Tokio Hotel have found millions of fans and played shows in hundreds of cities across the globe, but that's not something that'll be getting old anytime soon. Bill: "To go to America and to get the chance just to be in New York---" Tom: "---very good chance to play in America is just great because, there are not a lot of bands from Germany who, um, had the chance to play in America and, um... yeah, we had the chance and that's just just a great feeling. That's just a dream. But maybe in the future we have the chance to play a world tour, that would be great. Also in Asia and Tokyo maybe." ("Scream" plays; narrator begins speaking again) With the release of their album, "Scream", Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz earned legions of new fans for the band by singing in English. ("Scream" goes off) Bill: It's very the first time that I sang in English and, um, as you can hear my English is so bad (A/N: It's not bad. Pretty good, actually) (Either Tom or Georg laughs). And I really tried to sound like a native speaker on the record, and... so, it takes a long time in the studio and for me it was really important that everyone understand the lyrics and, um, yeah. So I hope the fans will like it. ("Ready, Set, Go!" plays; factoid pops up. It reads: With 3 million albums sold, Tokio Hotel (A/N: They didn't capitalize the "H" - so I did. How rude of them, lols) are the biggest band out of Germany in 20 years) It's the end, but "RSG!" is still playing. The narrator says something about bands across the ocean could be playing in your backyard before you know it. | |
