The german emopunkrockband Tokio Hotel did go with a good price on this year MTV Video Music Awards.
While Britney tooked all 3 prices, could Tom, Bill, Gustav and Georg, go on the stage and take the price "Best New Artist" by Lauren Conrad and Chace Crawford.
They won over Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Jordin Sparks and Katy Perry.

And the boys arrived MTV Video Music Awards with style:
They came to Parlamount Studios in Hollywood in a giaent monstertruck!

Tokio Hotel were nominated for the first time, and did not go emtihanded back home.
Tom thought that it was an oner just to be nominated.
